Murotex was co founded by Marc Lorente and David Valentine.
Marc and his wife Emma have carried out a number of major refurbs and property developments in Scotland whilst Dave and his wife Mandy have significant experience in running their eco build business specialising in building with various types of ICF and in particular Isotex blocks.
Appreciating the challenges in the building industry, what with new stringent fire regulations, poor efficiency, skills shortage and build costs, it was clear that the construction industry had to look for alternatives, which took them to Isotex.
Isotex ICF was first designed in Germany in 1946 and in 1985, whilst working for Isotex, the opportunity arose for Loris and his brother Eros Chinello to buy the company and move the manufacturing plant to its current site near Reggio Emilia in Northen Italy.
This family run company prides itself on constantly investing in the multi million euro manufactory plant as well as its staff and it’s collaborators through out Europe and now Los Angeles.
The Chinello brothers commitment is a testament to the 400,000 builds so far with Isotex builds, along with the backing of the European Technical Assessment (ETA) and UKCA approval.
