THE ADVANTAGES:

Ease of build

Fast, Precise, and Cost-Efficient Construction, described as like “Adult LEGO.” The first course is mortared and thereafter the blocks dry stacked on top of each other allowing rapid construction.

Outstanding Thermal Performance

U-values as low as 0.11 W/m²K are achievable without additional insulation. The combination of mineralised wood fibres + EPS Neopor insulation prevents cold bridges and ensures energy efficiency far exceeding Building Regulation standards with excellent thermal mass from the concrete core providing consistent indoor comfort and low heating/cooling demand.

Excellent Fire Resistance Ratings

Isotex blocks on their own achieve REI up to 120 and 240 when concrete is poured within;

R (Resistance) – the structure remains stable
E (Integrity) – no flames or hot gasses pass through
I (Insulation) – heat does not transfer to the other side

Isotex are the only company is Europe to pass the LEPIR2 Facade Fir Behaviour Test!

Environmentally Sustainable

Made from recycled wood (“end of life” recycled wooden pallets) and Portland cement.
Certified by PEFC and natureplus®, confirming eco-friendly sourcing and manufacturing.
Contributes to low embodied carbon and BREEAM / LEED credits. Full “Green” Blocks also available with the insulation made from 100% recycled material in a bio mass plant.
