The system has strong fire-resistance capabilities — Isotex blocks carry REI 120 (2 hours) with the Istotex flooring system having REI 240 (4 hours).
In addition, the specification lists for the blocks include seismic/anti-seismic performance, explosion resistance, facade fire behaviour tests (LEPIR2) etc.
Isotex gives you a monolithic concrete core in the block system which helps with structural rigidity, especially for tall or load-bearing walls.
